WoW. The comic conventions is finally over. Its pretty amazing how time crawls when you are behind a table at a con. Its been years since I've done this sort of thing, and even then it was for a store, and not my own stuff.

The short version. I got to meet a lot of cool people and sold enough to pay for the table and turn a small profit.

The long version, I got a change to meet a lot of crazy people.

Some of my favorites.

Dude who looks through my stuff and asks,
"whats the point of all this?"
well its just stuff I like to draw
so there is no point?
well, I suppose the point is, I'm enjoying my life drawing it.
oh. *looks sad* *wanders off*

or

dudes who ask "do you have a card with a webpage?"
translation "I want you book, but don't want to give you $3 and just want to download it"
heheheh, "I don't really have a webpage"
"oh" *looks sad and wanders off*

or

dude who looks excited about the books, and then asks,
are you going to be at comic-con?
er...no.
*looking dejected* sets the books back down, thats to bad. *wanders off*

or

crazy lady who sees that we used some drink umrellas to decorate our table
"how much are the umbrellas!" she asks excitedly.
er...they aren't really,...er, free I guess.
"oooh, can I take 2?"
er...sure I guess.....
oooh, which colors can I take???
er...any ones you want I guess.
geeeee!!!

there is a line in the movie aliens, "someone said aliens, and she thought it ment illegal aliens and signed up!" there were a lot of gay porn comics at the alternative press expo......nothing wrong with that...I just kept thinking about that line from aliens though....


I'll post some more stories and pics soon. it was a blast over all and I'm tired, and glad its over. =)
